Tell us your company code, your username and what's going on. A screenshot helps. Never send your PIN; we will never ask for it.

Questions about your hours or pay? Your company's owner or foreman can usually answer them fastest.

Common questions

How do I sign in?

Open ClockBelt and enter your company code, your username and your PIN. Your company code comes from your company's owner. The app remembers your company and username on that phone.

I'm new. How do I join my company?

Get the company code from your owner, choose Join in the app, and enter the code, your name, a username and a PIN. Your owner approves your request, and then you can sign in and clock in.

I forgot my PIN.

Ask your company's owner to reset it. They can set a new PIN for you, and you can change it later under More → Change PIN. For your security, ClockBelt support can't see or recover PINs. If you're the company owner and you're locked out, email us.

How do I install the app?

Whichever you use, you sign in the same way and see the same records.

What are reminders, and how do I turn them off?

Reminders are notifications that help you keep accurate hours: when you forgot to clock out, when it's time to clock back in from lunch, when a punch is missing, and when it's time to submit your hours. To get them, allow notifications for ClockBelt. You can turn reminders off in the app, or turn off notifications for ClockBelt in your phone's settings.

Not getting reminders? Check that notifications are allowed for ClockBelt in your phone's settings, and that reminders are on in the app.

Why does ClockBelt ask for my location?

To record where you were at the moment you clocked in or out, so your employer can see you were on the jobsite. That's the only time it checks. ClockBelt never tracks your location in the background or during the day.

Location is optional. If you say no, your punch still works and is saved without a location. To change your choice later:

I missed a punch or forgot my lunch.

Open the app. If a day needs a look, ClockBelt shows it with quick fixes, such as adding your lunch or adding the missing time. If your hours have already been approved, ask your foreman or owner to make the change.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to More → Delete my account. You can also ask by email. Our account deletion page explains both ways, what gets erased and what your employer keeps.

I own a company. Where do I sign up and pay?

Company owners create the company account and pay for it on our website, https://clockbelt.com. Pricing is shown there when you sign up. There is nothing to buy inside the apps, and your employees never pay.

Is ClockBelt a payroll service?

No. ClockBelt keeps your time, job and pay records and prepares them for payroll. It doesn't pay employees or file taxes. Its pay and tax figures are estimates; check them in your payroll provider, such as QuickBooks.
